This book is an English translations of two works by Sri Sankara: the Vakyavritti and the Atmajnanopadeshavidhi. The primary goal of these translations is to assist beginners in grasping the core philosophy of the Upanishads, specifically focusing on the unity between the individual and the Universal Self, as well as the concept of the "falsity of the world of distinctions."  Explanatory notes for Atmajnanopadeshavidhi are based on the commentary by Anandagiri. The book serves as an invitation to explore Advaita Vedanta through accessible, annotated translations.
