Swami Vivekananda Tells Stories
This "Publisher’s Note" introduces a collection of stories by Swami Vivekananda, highlighting his talent as a profound storyteller. The book compiles 106 stories originally found across his nine-volume Complete Works. These narratives, which range from short anecdotes to lengthy tales, were first serialized between 2005 and 2010 in the monthly journal The Vedanta Kesari.
Categorized into ten thematic headings, the stories are presented in Swamiji’s own words, preserving their original "charm and value." The compilation was curated by Swami Atmashraddhananda and features line drawings by Sri Mahendra C. Zinzuvadia. Published in May 2013 to honor Vivekananda’s 150th birth anniversary, the collection aims to provide readers with deep insights into human nature through his timeless wisdom.
