True to Swami Vivekananda’s vision, Sister Nivedita served as a "mistress, servant, and friend" to India, focusing on girl education and awakening Indian national consciousnes.  The booklet is a slightly edited version of an article by Swami Lokeswarananda, intended to introduce her life and role in the Indian Renaissance to a wider audience. Written for Sri Sarada Devi’s 164th Jayanti in 2016, it aims to inspire readers to assimilate Nivedita’s message of selfless dedication.
