How to Organise Life?
This book explains the classification of Hindu scriptures and the purpose of the book. It distinguishes between Shrutis, which represent eternal, unchanging truths, and Smritis, which provide ethical codes and practical conducts for daily life. Unlike the former, Smritis are meant to evolve according to changing social circumstances.
The book contains essays originally published in the Vedanta Kesari in 2002. These writings, authored by esteemed monks and scholars, explore the relevance of Smritis in a modern context and the need for a contemporary interpretation of Ashrama-dharma (the stages of life). The ultimate goal is to provide readers with practical insights to navigate today’s shifting values, helping them lead organized, meaningful, and fulfilling lives.
