Beyond Life And Death
This book is a compilation of Swami Vivekananda’s exposition on the Kathopanishad—his most loved Upanishad, which he revered for its core message of "strength".Out of the Kathopanishad's 120 verses, this compilation includes 86 verses that directly relate to Swamiji's commentary strewn across The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda, omitting un-commented verses and adding Sanskrit transliteration. Compiled by Swami Suprajnananda, the material was originally serialized in The Vedanta Kesari monthly between February 2011 and May 2012, featuring sketches by Sri Venkatesh.
The Kathopanishad features a profound dialogue between Yama (the God of Death) and the young boy Nachiketa regarding life, death, and what lies beyond it.
